Emergency Preparedness
Emergency Preparedness Week takes place each year in May. Each year has a theme. Click "Emergency Preparedness Starts With You" for useful information.
You can't predict an emergency, but you can prepare for one.
Emergency Preparedness suggests focusing on specific hazards or emergency situations and consider if you are prepared to deal with those emergencies - such as:
There is a risk of flooding....."Are You Ready?"
There is a risk of the power going out for an extended period of time....."Are You Ready?"
There is a severe thunderstorm warning....."Are You Ready?"
A tornado warning has been issued....."Are You Ready?"

The Municipality of Bayham Emergency Management Committee developed an Emergency Response Plan. Every official, municipal department and agency must be prepared to carry out assigned responsibilities in an emergency. The response plan has been prepared to provide key officials, agencies and departments of the Municipality of Bayham with important emergency response information related to:
- Arrangements, services and equipment; and
