The Municipality of Bayham Port Burwell East Beach will fly the Blue Flag this summer, joining the ranks of the most pristine beaches in Ontario’s south west.

Port Burwell East Beach can boast not only pristine swimming waters and excellent facilities, but also sustainable management practices with responsible stewardship of local ecosystems.

Blue Flag Beach

The beautiful sandy beach may be the focus of your excursion to Port Burwell. The shallow waters of Lake Erie create ideal swimming opportunities. Enjoy the ample space to catch some rays while physical distancing to ensure everyone's safety!  Free parking. Public permanent beach washrooms are available 8:00 am - 9:00 pm, portable washrooms are available at the beach, Marine Museum parking lot and at Memorial Park.

By-Law No. 2015-113 s. 2.7 prohibits dogs on the Municipal East Beach between the hours of 8:00 am – 8:00 pm during June - October.
