Third Party Advertisers
If a person, corporation or trade union intends to spend money on advertisements or other materials that support, promote or oppose a candidate running in the municipal election, they are required to register as a Third Party Advertiser with the Clerk by appointment during regular business hours. Registration to become a third party advertiser opens on May 2, 2022 and closes on October 21, 2022.
To register you will need:
- A completed Notice of Registration Form (PR Form 7)
- A declaration of qualification signed by the individual or by a representative of the corporation or trade union, as the case may be
- Proof of identity
- Evidence that the union or corporation you represent has authorized the registration of a Third Party Advertiser
There is no fee required to register as a Third Party Advertiser.
