Freedom of Information

Ontario's Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) provides an individual with the right to access records of information including one's own personal information, under the custody and control of a local government institution.

Individuals wishing access to records should begin by contacting the Clerk to determine if the request is considered a routine disclosure or if it requires a formal Freedom of Information (FOI) request to be submitted.

If submitting an FOI request, you must submit the Request Form accompanied by a $5.00 application fee. You may be charged additional fees as set out in the Act and its regulations.

Contact the Clerk for further information.
