Starting Tuesday, September 8, 2026, The County of Elgin will be undertaking rehabilitation work on the Eden Line Bridge. Elgin County will be sending a notice to all residents along Eden Line in the coming days.

Please be advised that effective immediately, Carson Line will be temporarily closed from Plank Rd to Talbot Line (Highway 3), until Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 4:00 pm, due to road construction and ditch work on the hill.
Road will be open to emergency vehicles and local traffic only. Carson Line will be open after 4:00 pm each evening.
