Canada Post has announced they will begin rotating strikes, allowing mail service to resume, although with delays. However, residents are reminded that failure to receive a tax or utility bill, or mailing a payment during the strike, does not relieve you from payment nor liability of penalty/interest of a late payment.
To avoid any missed bills or late payments, we encourage you to sign up for Paperless Billing & also enroll in Pre-Authorized Payments by visiting our Tax & Utility Bills page on our website. You can also find other methods of payment on our Bills & Payments page as well.
A reminder that the deadline to register and pay for the Curbside Bulk Garbage pickup is today, Tuesday, October 14, 2025. The pickup is scheduled for Monday, October 20, 2025.
