The Municipality of Bayham office will be closed for Labour Day on Monday, September 7th, and reopens Tuesday, September 8th at 8:30am for regular business hours.
There will be no changes to garbage or recycling pick up.

Starting Tuesday, September 8, 2026, The County of Elgin will be undertaking rehabilitation work on the Eden Line Bridge. Elgin County will be sending a notice to all residents along Eden Line in the coming days.

Please be advised that effective immediately, Carson Line will be temporarily closed from Plank Rd to Talbot Line (Highway 3), until Thursday, September 3rd at 4:00 pm, due to road construction and ditch work on the hill.
Road will be open to emergency vehicles and local traffic only. Carson Line will be open after 4:00 pm each evening.

Please be advised that effective immediately, Jackson Line will be temporarily closed from Plank Rd to Mitchell Rd, between 55111 – 55171 Jackson Line, until 3pm today, May 20, 2026 due to tree laying on wires, blocking the road. No thru traffic. Waiting on Hydro to remove wires.
Road is NOT open to local traffic, and not passable for emergency vehicles.
