  • Lighthouse - Notice of Sale or Disposition

    At the June 25, 2026, meeting of Council the property located at PLAN 12 PT LOT 14, being those lands colloquially known as the Lighthouse at the municipal address of 17 Robinson Street, was declared surplus to the needs of the Municipality. Direction was provided to pursue the sale or disposition of the lands directly with the Port Burwell Historical Society. The Municipality intends to bring a by-law to the July 16, 2026 regular meeting of Council to consider this transaction.

    Members of the public wishing to make public record for Council consideration, may do so by submitting written comments to the Clerk via email at clerk@bayham.on.ca or by submitting a paper letter to the Municipal Office. To have your public record included as part of the report on the agenda, submissions must be received by 4:30 p.m. on July 7, 2026. Comments received by noon on July 16, 2026, will be circulated to Council by the Clerk for consideration.

    February 17, 2026 – The Long Point Region Conservation Authority issued a Watershed Conditions Statement - Flood Outlook, for its entire watershed area.

  • T:GO Inter-Community Transit

    The Town of Tillsonburg recently announced that inter-community bus service from Tillsonburg to area municipalities, including Bayham, will cease effective April 1, 2025 due to a lack of funding.

    T:GO routes within the Town of Tillsonburg are not affected by the change and will continue.
