Resident Annual Seasonal Parking Pass applications to park at the East Beach for FREE, between 9 am to 7 pm, from May 1 to September 30, are now open to apply. Visit the Beach Paid Parking page for more information and to apply for your permit, or you can apply through this ONLINE FORM.

Non-Resident Annual Seasonal Parking Permits for the East Beach Parking between May 1 to September 30, Monday to Thursday is $85.52 inclusive of tax and fees, and can be purchased by accessing this LINK on the HONK website. Friday to Sunday is $22/day and can be paid using the QR code posted onsite.

Half Load Season - March 1 to April 30, 2026

The half-load season on certain municipal roads runs from March 1 to April 30 each year. Trucks are subject to reduced load restrictions in line with the Highway Traffic Act and By-law 2009-045. These measures aim to safeguard roads and bridges from potential damage during the spring thaw and prevent the formation of severe potholes, cracking, and deformation that occur when heavy vehicles travel on softened, saturated roads.   • Garbage Collection - Holiday Schedule

    Please be advised that there has been a CHANGE to the garbage collection schedule over the holidays. 

    Week of December 25th Due to Christmas Day and Boxing Day, Waste Collection will be Wednesday to Friday:

    • Area 1 – Wednesday, Dec 27
    • Area 2 – Thursday, Dec 28
    • Area 3 – Friday, Dec 29
