  • October Curbside Bulk Garbage Pick-Up Registration OPEN

    The Curbside Bulk Garbage Program runs in the months of April, May, July, September and October with a $25/load fee.

    The next and final Curbside Bulk Garbage Pick-up for this year is scheduled for October 20th, with a registration and payment deadline of October 14th.

    NOTE - Online registration and fee paid to the Municipal Office is required at least 1 week prior to the pick-up date. Only those who complete the registration form and provide payment by the deadline will be included on the list.

    Go Paperless – Stay Connected – Never Miss a Payment

    With the current Canada Post strike, residents are reminded that failure to receive a tax or utility bill, or mailing a payment during the strike, does not relieve you from payment nor liability of penalty/interest of a late payment.

    To avoid any missed bills or late payments, we encourage you to sign up for Paperless Billing & also enroll in Pre-Authorized Payments by visiting our Tax & Utility Bills page on our website. You can also find other methods of payment on our Bills & Payments page as well.

  • Consideration of SCC Expansion Tender Results

    Please be advised that Council will be holding a Special Meeting on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 6:00 pm to consider the SCC Expansion Tender results. Staff will be posting the Special Meeting agenda on Friday, October 3, 2025. The Special Meeting will take place in Council Chambers to utilize the hybrid meeting technology and residents should note that the Council Chambers has a maximum capacity of 63 people. Once this capacity is reached, no additional attendees will be permitted entry and you will be encouraged to watch the meeting via the YouTube live-stream.

    A procedural motion is being proposed at the October 2, 2025 Regular Council Meeting to permit Delegations and Open Forum to be part of the October 9, 2025 Special Meeting agenda.  Please contact Meagan Elliott, Clerk at melliott@bayham.on.ca if you wish to register as a Delegation or for Open Forum. If you wish to register as a Delegation, notification is required by Tuesday, September 30, 2025. If you wish to register for Open Forum, you may register up until Noon on the day of the meeting (October 9, 2025). A maximum of 4 persons may register for a Delegation and a maximum of 5 persons may register for Open Forum per meeting.

  • Tender Submissions for the Bayham Community Centre Addition

    Tender submissions for the Bayham Community Centre Addition closed on September 16, 2025. The public opening was live-streamed on the Bayham YouTube Channel HERE. Council will be considering these bids at the October 2, 2025 Council Meeting. 

  • The 2025 Bayham Waterfront Photo Contest

    Bayham’s Waterfront Advisory Committee, The Aylmer Express, Photographers of the Otter Valley (POV), and the Straffordville branch of the Elgin County Library have teamed up to host a photo contest.

    Please submit high quality, original size digital format jpeg photos that are taken between June 15, 2025, and September 22, 2025.

    Photo(s) must be taken within, or from the Municipality of Bayham and fit the Bayham Waterfront theme, and must be submitted by midnight on Monday, September 22nd.

  • Children's Summer Program - Marine Museum

    Children's programming is offered at the Marine Museum each summer for a period of six (6) weeks in July and August. 

    The 2025 Program will be held on Tuesdays from 1pm to 2pm starting on July 8th through to August 12th.

    This year's theme is 'GET TO KNOW NATURE!'

  • Small Craft Harbours Pierhead Repair

    Small Craft Harbours may be undertaking a project this summer in Port Burwell to repair the Pierhead in the picture below. The tendering phase for this project is planned for late June with construction work proposed to take place between July and August. In-water work will be associated with this project should it move forward. This is not a municipal project and any inquiries should be directed to Small Craft Harbours.
