Blue Flag Educational Programs

The Port Burwell Municipal East Beach has received Blue Flag status again for 2026!

A flag raising ceremony was held at the beach on Monday, June 1st at 5:30 pm.

As being appointed a Blue Flag Beach, there are certain requirements the Municipality is to uphold. One of which, is to provide educational programs relating to the beach.

The Municipality has a Waterfront Advisory Committee that acts in the capacity of the Management Committee required for Blue Flag Beaches to assist with the educational programs.

Please see the below programs for 2026:

We want to hear from you on how you can keep our beach clean and safe! Check out this presentation on beach pollution and examples of a beach pledge you can take and honour this season.
