  • May Curbside Bulk Garbage Pick-Up Registration OPEN

    The Curbside Bulk Garbage Program runs in the months of April, May, July, September and October with a $25/load fee.

    The next curbside bulk garbage pick-up for this year is scheduled for Monday, May 11, with a registration and payment deadline of Tuesday, May 5.

    NOTE - Online registration and fee paid to the Municipal Office is required at least 1 week prior to the pick-up date. Only those who complete the registration form and provide payment by the deadline will be included on the list.

  • Spring Leaf & Yard Waste Pickup

    Leaf and yard waste is collected curbside in urban areas throughout Bayham over a 4 week period in both the Spring and Fall, on Mondays, unless otherwise noted.

    2026 Spring Dates:  Starting Mondays on April 27, May 4 and 11, and ending on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

    All leaf and yard waste must be placed at the curb by 7:00 am, in either paper bags, open reusable containers, or bundled in lengths not exceeding 4 ft. All individual containers must weigh less than 22 kilograms (48 pounds). Leaf and yard waste items do not require a bag tag.

  • Reminder: Curbside Bulk Garbage Collection registration due April 7!

    A reminder that the deadline to register and pay for the Curbside Bulk Garbage pickup is next Tuesday, April 7, 2026 by 4:30pm. The pickup is scheduled for Monday, April 13, 2026.

  • Hydrant Flushing

    The Municipality of Bayham, in partnership with the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA), will be conducting spring hydrant flushing from April 27 to May 8. This work includes flushing all municipal hydrants as part of a regular maintenance program to maintain water quality and ensure the proper operation of the water distribution system.

    During this time, residents may experience temporary discolored water and/or reduced water pressure. If discoloration occurs, residents are advised to run cold water taps until the water clears and to avoid doing laundry until water clarity is restored.

  • Elgin County Road Construction Update – Glen Erie Line

    The County of Elgin has planned work for Glen Erie Line for 2026–2027. This year, the focus will be on completing slope work and culvert widening. In 2027 the focus will be road reconstruction.
