With the current Canada Post strike, residents are reminded that failure to receive a tax or utility bill, or mailing a payment during the strike, does not relieve you from payment nor liability of penalty/interest of a late payment.

To avoid any missed bills or late payments, we encourage you to sign up for Paperless Billing & also enroll in Pre-Authorized Payments by visiting our Tax & Utility Bills page on our website. You can also find other methods of payment on our Bills & Payments page as well.

Fire Prevention Week runs from October 5 - 11, 2025

The 2025 Fire Prevention Week theme is:

“Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home”

This year’s theme works to educate everyone about using Lithium-Ion Batteries in your home safely. The campaign stresses how important it is to BUY, CHARGE, and RECYCLE safely when it comes to lithium-ion batteries.
