CANADA DAY – Holiday Office Closure, Garbage Collection Schedule & Celebrations!
The Municipality of Bayham office will be closed for Canada Day on Wednesday, July 1st, and reopens Thursday, July 2nd at 8:30am for regular business hours.
For any roads, water or sewer emergencies, please call our afterhours answering service at 519-435-6454.
Garbage collection for Wednesday, July 1st & Thursday, July 2nd will be moved ahead by 1 day (Wednesday collection will be Thursday - Thursday collection will be Friday).
Head on down to Port Burwell for the annual Canada Day Parade starting at The Port Burwell Legion at 10:30 am & ending at the Pavilion for refreshments, hot dogs & cake. There will also be a flag raising ceremony at the Marine Museum along with fun crafts for kids! Watch for the Canadian Harvard Flyover!

RESIDENT & NON-RESIDENT ANNUAL SEASONAL PARKING PASS/PERMIT APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE!

Non-Resident Annual Seasonal Parking Permits for the East Beach Parking between May 1 to September 30, Monday to Thursday is $85.52 inclusive of tax and fees, and can be purchased by accessing this LINK on the HONK website. Friday to Sunday is $22/day and can be paid using the QR code posted onsite.
The Lighthouse has been declared surplus, as such, the Municipality is working with the Port Burwell Historical Society to reach an agreement to transfer ownership of the property. A target date of July 16, 2026 has been set to consider an agreement to be reviewed as a by-law.

The Municipal after-hours drop box is temporarily unavailable due to construction.
During regular business hours, please bring all payments/documents upstairs to the Municipal Office or use the doorbell to the right of the main doors and someone will come down to assist you.
